saving the world, one jammy dodger at a time...

"Tardis BIG BANG, Daleks BOOM!"

He held out a jammy dodger before them. He waved it left and right in front of the newly transformed daleks (which had nice paint jobs and a shiny polish finish).

The daleks looked at each other in consternation. They wanted to exterminate to Doctor, destroy his beloved Earth, but they could not do so if they were dead. One press of that dangerous red button, all of them would die. The End of the Doctor, and the End of the Daleks.

Um no... that is not a fan-fic. It's a part of the show where the Doctor tries to buy time and trick the Daleks into not killing him immediately, but of course they figure out its fake and the Doctor happily eats his jammy dodger in defeat. And of course, they want to take over the world, so if they're dead, how can they? Oh well... I just wrote it because I like the quote.

I was just watching an advertisement on Youtube you get before you can play your video. It was really kind of cool I didn't just skip it. It was showing all the really cool footage of Olympic Games, but there was this guy talking in the background in Jap. Then suddenly at the end, "Visa" popped out and it was quite funny although it ruined the awe-striking atmosphere.

Mr Ong showed us some really moving clips of the Olympics today. Like in Barcelona 1992, this poor fellow who was a 400m sprint record holder, Redwood or something, pulled his hamstring real bad, but he still finished the race, crying and everything. And also the softball story which I already watched before, but still almost cried. Joyce Chew didn't even like feel touched or anything or look down in embarrassment when she is feeling similar emotions. Oh well. Haha.

Oh well, I was just looking at the photos of the pig's heart for bio prac and so happened to think of all the funny experiments Sherlock does in the house. Like human eyeballs in the microwave found by the drugs bust team. Thumbs in the fridge found by Mrs Hudson. Human head also in the fridge found by John. I don't know how John can put up with it. I think if Sherlock was not a consulting detective, he could bloody well be a mad scientist/ quack surgeon. He'll probably cut out your liver and run off with it, claiming it to be an experiment with alcohol blah-whatnot. And my worksheet is permanently stained with pig's blood now...

And Lesley will you STOP leaking my secrets to my mum. I think I keep my secrets from my mum better than you... I can't even shush you cos that will make it even more obvious, you B-MOB. I came up with that term earlier this afternoon and now I can't even remember what it stands for. I can keep a perfectly straight face while watching Scandal in Balgravia (which is not the easiest episode to keep a straight face, trust me) and there you go blabbing about my Sherlock-obssesion and actually using the word "fangirling". I do not agree on the use of that term. AT ALL. OTHER PEOPLE IGNORE ME.

Anyway, not too sure if I should invite Sarah to come too? She'll probably have NPCC anyway. Um. I really don't know what we will do... All I can think of is watch Doctor Who and Sherlock. Or play board games. Or just talk. Or watch a movie or the Olympics... My mum will probably use you as a red herring to distract me she whips out the cake or something. I don't think she will mind letting you stay for dinner or whatever. Oh God, we could even do HOMEWORK. (hurrah...) Well, that is if you can get permission to come over.

I just ate dinner and now I am hungry. I suppose I won't be very surprised if someone tells me I have a worm in my stomach. Seriously. We were just talking about it during dinner. And so happen I was reading Three Men in a Boat (which is actually four) and the guy was reading reports on symptoms of diseases and then he thought he had all of them bar one, housemaid's knee. It's kind of silly.

Like how come the narrators never include themselves. Even Three Musketeers are four people including the narrator. I am on an old literature roll now. Like I was looking for Catcher in the Rye and was surprised to find that mum didn't have the book, so I finished Of Mice and Men in a couple of hours and fell onto Three Men in the Boat, which is supposed to be quite funny. I can imagine. On another note, P.G. Wodehouse is the BEST. I love his Jeeve books. Bertie Wooster is a blundering, dithering idiot, whoc constantly needs saving by his valet. And the reason why I want to read Catcher in the Rye is because it is Ben Cumberbatch and Arthur Darvill's favourite book. How can I not read it? (Is it in like, the British school set text or something?) One of Matt Smith's favourite books is The BFG by Roald Dahl. I swear he is like a little kid. I just saw a very unusual pic of Ben Cumberbatch wearing an extremely short tie? At first I thought it was Matt Smith cos I could only think of Matt Smith wearing that kind of kiddy clothes...

Doing the Pom Poko assignment. I swear that show is kind of gross in a cartoon way. I never expected a cartoon to be that kind of gross. And I researched on 重要环保纪念日 and got 植树日、无烟日、爱鸟日、环境日、水日、地球日、粮食日. Please. I HATE birds...

Grumpy old man grumbling at me for sitting quietly at the computer and minding my own business... sheesh. Okay, fine.

Bye.

do you fear the night?

During Bio today, I came to a shocking revelation. I turn 15 next week.

I mean, like, SHIIIIT... I don't feel that I'm even mature enough to own the title of being 15. Especially with my shitty MSG of about 3.8 (not including IH) Not a very nice way of entering in 15th year of my life. And also, my birthday falls on a Friday (dammit) cos we should be abstaining from meat. And how am I going to tell the Lectors my birthday is next week cos they'll want to celebrate and it'll be so paiseh. Unless somehow they have records of my birthday (great) or I have to tell them (great, wayyy better). The worst would be not telling, because, well, they'll be so sorry and what not. Argh. How to tell them subtley? And of course I will feel obliged to bring something along for the celebration... Like, cake on Thursday, nothing on Friday and then cake again on Saturday. It's like everything stops for Friday.

I like not telling what my bro to get me cos he surprises me every time. At least he tries to. Last year's present was GOOD :D I hope I don't get another bottle of perfume (or the like) from my parent's godson's parents. And I haven't chosen my birthday present from my parents yet. And I can't wait to see my other presents!! (HINTHINTHINT) Lesley and Sarah, you better have gotten me something or I will... I don't know... dao you for the rest of the day. Or something. And of course, don't forget to bring it on Friday... if not I will just shake my head and click my tongue at you sadly. If you don't mind, I like my presents wrapped. The only nice kind of surprise I get nowadays. I don't have to elaborate on the nasty kinds of surprises...

I shall try to make it a point to begin my 15th year with an episode of Sherlock and Doctor Who each. My next epidose of Sherlock would be Series 2 Ep 1 and DW would be Series 6 Night Terrors. Yups. Also. I started on Series 1 from where I stopped. Next one is Aliens of London! I'm not going to care... afterall the next day is Saturday. I'm not going to give a damn about if there's training the next day. I'm going to WATCH SHERLOCK AND DW!

Aha. Today was damn awkward during Chinese lesson. There were onle 11 of us. Then there was nothing much to do so I took out my Chinese tuition work and started doing while 林老师 was writing something on the board. Suddenly out of no where he wants to go through 作文 and I'm like "Hell no! You come and disturb me when I'm doing serious work here?" (no, of course I didn't say that out loud) Then I put my stuff and listened. Then he suddenly ran out of things to say, so I took my stuff out again. And he was like, "多一个建议?" Then I just daoed him. And then he came over and asked me what I was doing. Still daoing. Then he was like, "是不是华文补习功课?有用吗?" Then he tries to pick up my work and I'm like, "HELL NO! OVER MY DEAD BODY YOU READ MY COMPO!" And there is awkward shuffling of paper to hide it and I lay on top of the stack going, "不要不要不要!" in a high-pitched voice. Which is like, my cute voice. Like, I don't pull my cute voice on teachers, but it just popped out. Thank God he left me alone after that. My face felt hot because I had actually pulled the cute voice and my friends were giggling. Then he walked back to the board (sadly, because he didn't get to read my lousy compo) and then after that he decided he didn't really need the last 建议 and then left us alone again. Like WHAT?!?!

Then after the lesson, Chinese debaters were supposed to meet him during recess, which was like immediately after the lesson. YES AND GUESS WHO GOT UN-LUCKY DRAWED. Then we sat down and talked about the debate. My Chinese was so pathetic. If there was a transcript of everything said, I swear I talked the most English and most of what I said was in English. Other than that, largely silence on my part. And then he was talking about something about speed and ease, but he couldn't find the word 'ease' and he said 'easability'. And I just said in this deadpan voice, "Ease". And then he started laughing his head off (at himself). And I was just staring blankly at the table in a daze without any apparant reaction. Only after he had finished laughing did I see the funny side and I was the only stupid ass sitting there smiling my head off. My extreme lag. I swear. I'm too serious. I'm like some uber-serious middle-aged working lady boss who has no time to smile and only workworkwork. Gosh I'm socially apathetic. But at least whatever little I said all made it to the paper or was brought out to discussion. ALL. Like, I was thinking about something and then I went, "Oh!" and he was only about to say something and he actually STOPPED for me to say my piece. Usually I'm just ignored. Heheh.

Today is such an awkward day. Another harrowing day in the life of an emotional rollercoaster. I feel quite dreadful now. A wave of sad, hurt, lonely feelings wash over me like the rolling waves of the sea, but they don't recede. They just ebb higher and higher.

-one math reflection later-

Okay, I feel better now. A bit. Hurrah.

 -a bit of tumblr-in later-

Sherlock definitely lifts the spirits.
And seeing other people reblog you ;)
Especially the Sherlock posts ;))

bye :)

I CAN'T FIND THE GIF OF RIVER DOING "HELLO SWEETIE" :/

I feel so guilty... for getting the kicks out of reading somebody else's blog (without any due granted permission, but she didn't private it, so she is actually not NOT allowing total strangers to read it), that is SO romantic, it's totally gross. I mean, I hope I don't become so silly when I fall in love and get a boyfriend. The phrase "fall in love and get a boyfriend" is a whole phrase in itself, because falling in love has been since like forever, but it's been 3 years and I'm not silly. I am no closer to getting a boyfriend and I don't intend to change that anytime soon, especially if it will turn me into that kind of silly person. But, yes, I think I will have enough self-control to not post anything so ridiculously romantic not matter what I might be thinking inside my head, which is, trust me, extremely romantic. Yes, I am a romantic at heart, but I think that my years of mental maturity, so much that I feel uncomfortable with most people my age and more content in listening to adult conversation, I am able to control most of my feelings without exploding. Or at least until I am the only person present before I start fangirling to no one in particular. However, my face is an open book. I bet the altar boys have fun trying to comprehend the emotions that flash across my face and change exceedingly quickly. From grimacing to a slight smile and frowning and so on, I must provide quite an interesting spectacle of flickering emotions. Even I don't know what I'm actually feeling half the time.

Picture of my latest favourite persons:

Like, seriously, these guys are too cool. Benedict Cumberbatch from Sherlock and Matt Smith from Doctor Who. Did I mention how awesome BBC shows are? I think I'm going to heck with K-Dramas. Cos' there's Doctor Who and Sherlock. <3<3<3

Matt Smith is TOO cute. I mean, look at him. Even my BROTHER thinks he's cute, for goodness sake. He makes bowties and fezzes COOL 8D

Best Doctor Who trio EVERRR.

Beautiful sketch of Nine, Ten and Eleven. (Eleven being my favourite, of course :))
And on top of that, Eleven's COOL things. Except that his hats keep getting killed by Riversong and he doesn't understand that married couples don't exactly want to sleep in bunkbeds.

Benedict Cumberbatch is seriously too handsome... I totally love his eyes... and the way he thinks...

I am so totally obssessed. Like, I suddenly yelled "Benedict Cumberbatch!" while I was studying for blocks last week. Like, I mean, it was the day before the last day and well, I couldn't wait to watch the second episode. Haha, I was so embarrassed, cos my bro was there and I mean, it was a total lapse of self-control (contrary to the whole thing up there). But at least I have a grip on reality. I know it's extremely unlikely that I will meet any of these people in real life and such, so I remember the people around me I love and feel happy. Haha as I am typing this, his photo is SO distracting...

And also my favourite couples!
Black Widow and Hawkeye. I mean Scarlett Johanssen and Jeremy Renner are so totally cute together. And it is almost real. Maybe it even is real.

And also Amy and Rory! Rory is totally ridiculous, silly, extremely LOUSY husband (at least Amy can take care of herself), but he is so loving and patient and AWKWARD (which is so cute). I LOVE how they got together. Like they were childhood friends and she was saying that he was gay. And he was so hurt. And she was like, "Tell me about a time when you showed any interest in girls." And then he turned and ran. And the penny dropped and she ran after him. TOO CUTE!! I don't have any nice pictures of them on Tumblr... :(
These aren't photos. They aren't! I'm disappointed that there are not many Amy-Rory photos, but more Amy-Doctor photos, but they are perfect together. Amy-Doctor personalities are a bit too strong to do husband-wife, anyway the Doctor has River (who is Amy-Rory's child). Anyway, Rory needs someone to take care of him and who better than Amy? ^^

Haha nowadays my Tumblr is just spammed with fandoms. Like, I rarely post Kpop stuff anymore, unless it's really too cute. Anyway, if I lose Kpop followers I don't care cos' I've got The Derpvengers, AmyandRory, the Doctor and Sherlock.

And I am happy.
