I have disappointed myself by not posting in ages, but it's not a biggie for me cos I don't really bother. Everytime I have something to blog about I don't get the time and when I do have the time (like now) I don't really have anything to say.
Anyway, my previously scandalous then quiet since secondary school life has once again become scandalous on a relatively minor degree as compared to past times. The problem, I must stress, does not originate from me. Well, I have to be a part of it because it is about me, but I'm not the one letting my random feelings run about. I've learnt very well from that, I would like to think. It's not like I don't, but I just try not to show it and partially also because I can't do anything about it. I would like to think of it as a one-sided relationship with the other party say (from an American context) in Iraq/Gaza/any other place where there is chaos and war. Which when placed in the Singaporean context, hmm well, does not go too far. Except that there is no war.
Harrumph. Anyway, I am not being chased by a guy who wants to chase me but stupidly let out to one of his classmates that is my not-very-close friend who told me. Sucker. And let himself be openly ridiculed in front of me by my friend. And it is true. I mean, it's not like I'm Sherlock I have enough time to look into his eyes to see his pupils dilate, but when I happened to glance at him, he jumped like a great hare. Very very awkwardly. Hmph. So yeah. Not like I'm interested. I'm interested in the other person mentioned in the second paragraph, but the chances of getting together in EVER is like near zero. At the present time. I have my priorities straight anyway. Studies first, dude.
I would like to go into Confirmation Camp, but um, probably not very interesting for my minimal audience, but anyway, we really got a lot closer in the three days than in the five years we were together as a class. I thought that Zac and April were quite cute together, but they have their own gf/bf so never mind. And Zac looked so sad during our Confirmation (and the time after that I saw him), it's like he couldn't even smile and be happy for us. Poor dear. Pray for him that God will lift him from all his troubles and worries.
Random observation: Gerald talks to all the girls in my class (not sure about Vera...) but he doesn't talk to me... Well, strictly it's NOT a random observation, because this observation is (to me) quite obvious... And haha that guy I don't even know his name seems to have a hard time breathing/swallowing when I sat next to him... was that because of me or was that just him? Goodness, my church life seems so scandalous. Probably to make up for the absence of boys in school. Which kind of makes the prospects of JC even worse. Thank God catechism is over. To think of the things that could happen... Like a slow boiling pot deciding to explode all of a sudden, the catalyst being Confirmation camp. Awful, awful, awful. I shudder to think. Nononono. Not good. Very not good.
Whee anyway. Me hearts The Hobbit and Sherlock and Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch and all the wonderful people involved from Directors and Producers to the runners who make tea on set for the lovely people. Too bad I miss the Singapore premier. I'm in Australia. BUT DID YOU SEE THE HOBBIT PLANE!! OHMAHGAH!! SO CHIO! :DDD
I mean... MARTIN FREEMAN IS ON A PLANE!!! I can die in peace now.
And the Air New Zealand flight safety video!?!?
HEARTHEARTHEARTHEART!!!
And the new Artemis Fowl book is out. Artemis Fowl and the Last Guardian.
Currently on my reading list: Les Miserables (which unfortunately I can't type the thingy on top that looks like the 第二声调) of which the first 43 pages was spent describing a Bishop in the place called D-- (yes it's written as D--) of which after giving away his silver platter and candle sticks to the protagonist (who is a thief) is never to be mentioned again. EVER. /jaw drop/ Okay, but I actually do find it interesting. Just like The Lord Of The Rings, which I actually finished in one shot, unlike my bro who took manymany tries just to read the whole thing. I just have this thing for reading old-ish books.
My reading list goes something like this:
- Kidnapped
- Hunchback of Notre Dame
- The Odyssey
- Three Men in A Boat
- Gulliver's Travels
- Dracula
- Macbeth
- Hamlet
- ...
And basically other stuff like that. Can't be bothered to read Anne of Green Gables. Almost died reading that. Never finished Treasure Island either. Or the Phoenix and the Carpet for that matter. I started that book, I think before I hit the double digits. Forced myself through The Phantom of the Opera. bleh. But that was a few years ago. I can't believe I actually have never finished The Little Prince (embarrassing) Okay...
10. The Little Prince
My wrists are dying. I think I should stop now.
Good night and don't forget to say your prayers.
Debbie: Me hearts you, sweetie. Don't worry about it.
