I've been having a number of strange dreams recently. Some of them are about toilets. (When I needed the toilet real BAD) I've dreams ranging from looking for my misplaced clothes (which I was going to wear to next morning) in Church and ending with meeting my (actually I don't want to say it here) to being stuck in a Kopitiam invaded by yellow(?) cobras. I've had my brother falling off the train platform in a foreign country, and when I called the Emergency, coloured plastic balls came tumbling out. -laughs- What dreams!
I finally know the answer to my long burning question: Has my brother's voice broken yet? -laughs- The answer is finally, yes, but it happened slowly, so its not like he woke up one day croaking like a frog. -laughs-
I've filled hundreds of Milo cups for squabbling aunties, been rejected hundreds of times asking for donations for SPCA, rung Salvation Army bells for 8 hours (and counting), I think I'm starting to lose whtever sanity I had. But while ringing bells today, I had a revelation!!! I know what to write next for my story. I will stop writing about Jen and Fred for now because I know what Dominic is going to do!! -grins-
Let's write a bit about SPCA and Salvation Army. Okay, SPCA first. Uh. Oh yeah. Urm, was commenting to my mum about young couples walking by, like this guy gave lots of money!! and this guy didn't give anything!! and this guy's girlfriend gave but not him!! (tsk) and this guy gave his money to his girlfriend to put into the tin!! and such stuff, so she said to tell my bro what to do when he gets a girlfriend (laughs) to impress her and blahblah. There were grumpy aunties, nice aunties, grudging uncles, nice uncles, cute kids with nasty parents, cute kids with nice parents, nice couples, not-so-nice couples, rushing people, not-rushing people, nice guys, not-so-nice guys, nice girls, not-so-nice girls, generous people, stingy people, smokers, non-smokers. You get the idea. For a full 4 hours, you should have a full tin. ^^ For 2+ hours, you should get a 3/4 full tin. :) That is if you ask people. 8 hours of CIP done.
Salvation Army. Doing 3 days of 4 hours. 2 days down, 1 day to go. 8 hours done, 4 hours to go. Observations: True Singaporean Spirit is realized here!! Only the nicest of the nice will give!! On day one, there was this guy who gave like, $5 without asking. I was totally O_O No other teenager gave that much, not even on the second day. My mum was like, that was the largest donation right? I was like NO, because after that a lady gave 2 $10 notes, so yeah. Then I said that was the largest donation a teenager has given so far, and my mum was like, You want me to get his number? I was like MUMMMM!!! >_< Seriously, mum. Sheesh. I thought you were supposed to be a grown up.
Oh well. Sponge Bob now. Ninja Warrior later. ^^
